Note:  the Command Prefix has not to be

changed using HI92000 Hanna Soft-
ware.

Select a different com-
mand prefix (between 0
to 47 in decimal) by
pressing UP and DOWN.

Press CFM to confirm the set-
ting.

Procedure for pH 301:

To set the baud rate of the meter press
COMM, the primary LCD shows the current
baud rate.

The following baud rate
can be selected through
UP and DOWN:

150, 300, 600, 1200
(factory setting), 2400,
4800, 9600.

Press COMM to confirm the setting and the
primary LCD shows the current command
prefix: 16 is the factory setting.

Note:  the Command Prefix has not to be

changed using HI92000 Hanna Soft-
ware.

SETTING THE BAUD RATE AND THE
COMMAND PREFIX

The transmission speed (baud rate) of your
pH meter and of the external device must be
the same.
Procedure for pH 300:

To set the baud rate of the meter press
COMM, the primary LCD shows the current
baud rate.

The following baud
rate can be selected
through UP and
DOWN:

150, 300, 600, 1200
(factory setting) and
2400.

Press CFM to confirm the setting and the
primary LCD shows the current command
prefix: 16 is the factory setting.
