• Remove the cuvette.
• Unscrew the cap and add the content of one packet of
HI783IND‑0
Marine
Magnesium Indicator Reagent. Ensure all powder is added to the sample,
loss of powder will result in false high readings. Replace the plastic stopper
and the cap.
• Shake gently for 30 seconds. Insert the cuvette into the holder and ensure
that the notch on the cap is positioned securely in the groove.
• Press

The display will show a 3 minute countdown prior to the measurement. To skip the timer, press

. When the timer ends, the meter will perform the reading. The instrument displays

• Rinse cuvettes, caps, syringes, and tips thoroughly with deionized (RODI) water and allow to dry completely
before storing.

Interference may be caused by:
• Calcium below 300 ppm and above 500 ppm
