8. Check the brake pedal
–
Depress the brake pedal and check for
sluggishness or jamming.
–
The correct braking distance at no load
is 2.5 m.
–
Adjust the pedal height: Adjust the stop
bolts so that the distance between the
middle point of the upper surface of the
pedal and the front bottom base is 115 mm -
125 mm.
–
Adjust the length of the brake master
cylinder push rod so that the idle stroke of
the pedal is 1 mm - 3 mm.
–
Gradually depress the brake pedal by 10
mm - 20 mm, the brake light switch should
be turned on.
6.3 Every one and a half month
maintenance (250 hours)
Add the following maintenance items in addition
to the weekly maintenance.
1. Apply lubricating grease on the front and rear
pins of the tilt cylinder.
Wipe the filling point clean and then squeeze
out the old oil.
2. Chain check
(
1
)
Use a caliper and measuring-tape to
measure chain elongation and replace it
when the elongation exceeds 3% of the initial
length.
(
2
)
Use a caliper to measure the height of
the chain plate, replace it when its wear
exceeds 3% of the initial height, and replace
other chains on the same mast, do not
replace them individually.
(
3
)
Clean and lubricate the chain. When
the chain is working in a cold or corrosive
environment,
the cleaning and lubrication time should be
reduced to 100 hours.
