AIR FILTER
Always change the air filter at the intervals outlined in the Periodic Maintenance
Chart section.
NOTICE
Never operate the vehicle with the filter element removed. Dirt will enter the
engine, causing rapid wear and severe damage to the engine.
1. The air filter box must be completely
removed to access the air filter. To
remove, loosen the two (2) bolts

securing the box to the frame, as
well as the attached intake clamp.
2. Pull air filter box away from the
machine.
3. Loosen the five (5) screws on the
outside of the air filter box and
remove the air filter.
4. Remove the air cleaning element.
5. Remove and replace paper filter.
6. Apply a commercially available
chassis lubricant to the inside lip of
the new air filter. Install the filter and
tighten the clamp.
7. Reinstall the access cover.
