Power Requirements
Always make sure you use a power supply that provides the correct
voltage to your notebook. The voltage can be found on the bottom
side of the notebook or in its instruction manual, denoted by V or
Volts.
Note: If the exact value of the voltage on the power supply is not
available, you have to select the value that most approaches it.
For example, if 18.5 Volt value is not available you will need to set
the power on 18 volts.
Information on Safety and Proper Use of the device

To ensure the best connection and avoid overheating of the
plug:

Always use the recommended connector shown in the
compatibility list.
o
Insert the connector by pushing it down into the socket of
the notebook. In most models you hear a click when the
connector is inserted correctly.

Be sure to connect only notebooks which require a power less
than or equal to 90 watts.
•
Make sure the wall outlet is supplying the same type of power
source indicated on the device with regard to the voltage (V)
and frequency (Hz).
•
Before use, check that the device, the integrated cable and the
wall outlet are not damaged in any way.
•
Make sure that the device is not placed on surfaces sensitive to
heat and that the adapter has sufficient ventilation.
