BEFORE FIRST USE: Remove 

kettle from power base before 

filling. Pull open lid and fill kettle 

with water to MAX fill line on the 

water level window. Push ON/OFF 

(

I/O) switch to turn the kettle on (I). 

The kettle will bring the water to a 

boil. Discard water and repeat 2–3 

times, rinsing out kettle each time. 

The kettle is now ready for use.
