10. Audio playback from a storage medium
Note – Storage medium
•
The storage medium must be formatted using the
FAT32 file system.
•
The storage medium is recognised by the device
automatically.
•
Do not use a USB cable to connect USB volumes to
the USB interface. The USB port is intended only for
directly connecting USB storage devices.
•
Switch on the record player as described in section
.
•
Press [MODE] (17) repeatedly until USB is displayed. The
device is now in playback mode.
•
Insert an USB stick into the record player’s USB port (18).
•
Alternatively, insert an SD/MMC card into the record
player’s SD card slot (19).
•
Wait until the record player has recognised the storage
medium. “LOD” appears on the display. In this case, “SD”
lights up on the display.
•
The record player automatically begins playback of the
audio files.
11. Replacing the stylus
•
The stylus is subject to natural wear due to the playback
process, and must be replaced if necessary.
Note
•
A worn or defective (chipped) stylus can damage your
records.
•
Use only type AT-3600L styli.
•
Disconnect the product from the mains using the [Power]
button (21) before you begin replacing the stylus.
•
Remove the protective cap as described in section
4.3
Removing the protective cap from the stylus.
•
Remove the stylus by pulling it downwards and then
forwards as shown in the diagram.
•
Insert the new stylus by proceeding in reverse order.
12. Care and Maintenance
•
Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free
cloth and do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
•
If you do not use the product for a long time, turn off
the device and disconnect it from the power supply.
Store it in a clean, dry place out of direct sunlight.
