2.5 Special danger warnings / residual dangers

2.5.13 Hazards due to contamination
WARNING
Danger from contamination (e.g. grinding sludge, oil and emission
deposits, dust, chips, etc.) can impair the function of the lifting pins!
A failure to observe this can result in death or serious injury!
– Always keep the lifting pins clean.

Ensure a clean working environment.
– During use always wear the protective equipment necessary for the work
in question.
2.5.14 Dangers due to damaged lifting pins
WARNING
Danger of life-threatening injuries due to damaged lifting pins!
A failure to observe this can result in death or serious injury!
– Before each use, check the lifting pins for visible defects (e.g.
deformations, breaks, cracks, damage, missing balls, corrosion, function
of the release).
– Remove damaged lifting pins immediately from any further use.
2.5.15 Hazards due to cleaning liquids (containing solvents) and
other chemical substances or emissions
WARNING
On the lifting pins there are dangers due to cleaning liquids
(containing solvents) and other chemical substances or emissions!
A failure to observe this can result in death or serious injury!
– Observe the safety regulations applicable to the product when handling
cleaning liquids (containing solvents) and other chemical substances or
emissions.
– During use or at work always wear the protective equipment required for
the work in question (respiratory protection, protective clothing, safety
goggles, and protective gloves).
