Connecting the Stingray

To connect the Stingray

 

2:

1.

Connect the “PRIMARY” RJ45 Ethernet port to your network using a Cat5 STP cable 
(not included). 

2.

(Optional) Connect the “SECONDARY” Ethernet port to the Ethernet port on a PC 
(i.e., to connect the PC to the network using the Stingray

 

2 as a pass-through). 

By default, the SECONDARY port works automatically when plugged in; however, it 
can be disabled as a configuration option by your service provider (by editing the 
STBImage profile). 

NOTE  

The Stingray

 

2 has a built-in hardware Ethernet switch to manage traffic for both 

the PRIMARY and SECONDARY ports.
