Open fall arrester

Move the service lift with the button for ascent upwards until the
safety rope is relieved.
NOTICE
If the ascent of the service lift is not possible (e.g. in the event of a power
failure), the cabin must be moved upwards a little without motor power. See
2.

Turn the release lever (3) clockwise until it audibly engages. A
relatively high expenditure of force is necessary here.

Release lever does not engage: Turn the locking lever slightly
clockwise and move the cabin slightly upwards electrically or
mechanically.
Inspection window for
checking the centrifugal force
mechanism

While it is moving, look through the inspection window (4) of the fall
arrester to check whether the centrifugal force mechanism is
rotating.
⇨
Centrifugal mechanism does not rotate during travel: The fall
arrester must be sent in for a general overhaul or be
replaced. Lock service lift!

Rope hoist

The rope hoist is equipped with two brake systems.
The electrically released spring-applied brake closes automatically when the
buttons for ascent and descent are released and when the power supply fails.
A centrifugal brake also reduces the descent speed to approx. 24 m/min during
manual lowering (emergency manual descent).
