►
Place the rope pull rod with the rubber profile on the roof edge of
the service lift. Position the rope pull rod in such a way that the safety
rope is pulled jerkily (lever action) by pressing hard on the rod
profile. Alternatively, pull the safety rope directly using the rope pull
rod. The fall arrester should now engage audibly and hold the rope.
⇨
Fall arrester is not triggered: The fall arrester must be sent in
for a general overhaul or be replaced. Lock service lift!
3.
►
Turn the release lever clockwise until the fall arrester audibly opens
again. Check whether the control indicates that it is ready for
operation.
Checking the centrifugal force
mechanism
1.
►
Drive the service lift approx. 2 m upwards.
2.
►
While driving, observe whether the centrifugal force mechanism is
rotating in the window of the fall arrester.
⇨
The centrifugal force mechanism does not rotate during
travel: The fall arrester must be sent in for a general overhaul
or be replaced. Lock service lift!
