Brief description

The service lift is TOPlift L+ edition used to transport people or material to

higher workplaces in a wind turbine generator (WTG).

The service lift consists of a closed cabin with an electrically driven rope hoist that

lifts the service lift along the bearing rope. The safety rope, which secures the

cabin in the event of overspeed with a fall arrester, serves as an additional fall

protection.

The service lift is operated for the transport of persons at the control in the cabin

(manual operation). The control panel on the outside of the service lift cabin can

be used for an empty run or material transport (automatic operation).

15.2

The service lift is equipped with the following safety equipment:



Two braking systems in the rope hoist: Electromagnetically released

spring-loaded brake and centrifugal brake



Fall arrester (fall protection)



Shutter door with door lock mechanism



Overload limit



Safety switch-off on the top (limit switch)



Switching flap on the top



Switch plate on the bottom



Slide in switch plate



Emergency-stop button on the inside and outside of the service lift



Access barrier (apron)



Attachment points



Handwheel for manual ascent



Emergency manual descent



Locking device on the railing doors (interlocking)
