Safety instructions
Personal injury and damage to property possible due to non-compliance with the instructions.
The instructions must be read carefully before installation and use.
Pay special attention to warnings.
Danger of falling
Inadequate safety precautions can lead to serious injuries or death by falling.
Assembly and use is only permitted to qualified persons who have received a training
recognized by the manufacturer.
When entering the service lift and during all work at height, secure yourself against
falling with personal protective equipment (PPE) at one of the marked attachment points.
Only use approved and technically flawless protective equipment.
Do not operate the service lift if you feel unwell or in poor physical condition.
Do not exceed the maximum permissible payload (Technical Data, 67).
Service lift safety equipment
Defects in the safety equipment may result in death or injury.
The service lift may only be used if it is in perfect condition. Operation with defective or
incorrectly adjusted parts can endanger personnel and/or the service lift.
Damaged components may only be replaced by qualified personnel (authorized by the
manufacturer) and by original Hailo Wind Systems parts.
No modification or extension of the service lift may be made without the express prior
written consent of the manufacturer.
Do not make the service lift vibrate during the ride by jerky movements.
If the rope hoist, the fall arrester, the ropes or the cabin have been overloaded or
damaged after improper use, unscheduled maintenance of the service lift is required.
Never modify, remove or circumvent the safety equipment of the service lift or parts
thereof.
