Spatial distribution according to EN 61439-1/-2 up to Form 4b
The powerway enclosures are characterised by clear and well-arranged spatial distribution.
The spatial distribution enables the extension of the internal separation according to EN 61439-1/-2 up
to Form 4b.
Spatial distribution in powerway enclosure

Main PE and cross-connection space
 Terminal compartment and cable compartment
– Cable connection/busbar connection (busbar connection up to 1600 A)
 Device compartment
– Accommodates an ACB. Designed for fixed installation or withdrawable (with withdrawal mechanism, position signal-
ling switch, position indicator, etc.)
 Field connection compartment
– Connection of the main busbar system (H-SaS) to the ACB
 Main busbar space
– Accommodates the main busbar system H-SaS
03.07 Partition concept
