Turn off your system and connect the output from your turntable to your
PH50B. Make sure you use high quality coaxial cables with proper shield
-
ing to minimize noise. It is also very important that you ensure the ground
connection from the turntable is properly and securely fastened to your
PH50B.
Using the Unbalanced outputs
If you are connecting to a HIFI receiver use the RCA outputs on the PH50B
into a pair of line level inputs on the receiver. Do not use inputs labeled
‘phono’ as these will apply the RIAA equalization curve a second time,
resulting in distortion and a loss of high frequencies.
