EMOVAL
Note: This applies to Shakers built before January 2005.
1. Follow the instructions in Chapter 4, Base Plate Removal on page 4-2, for
removing the base plate.

2. Disconnect the ribbon cable from the body board connector.
3. Remove the two phillips head screws on either side of the satellite bag
peg.
4. To remove the Keypad/Faceplate, slide a razor blade or Exacto knife under
the plate, being careful not to gouge the plate. Gently peel the face plate
partially up from the left to the right. When the face plate is approximately
two-thirds removed, the keypad will be exposed. Place a finger on the
keypad to hold it in place while removing the remainder of the face plate.
For Shakers manufactured after 11/00, the face plate and keypad are one
assembly.
Caution: Only peel faceplate from left to right or keypad may be ripped. Do not
re-use the keypad.
5. Remove the four phillips head screws beneath the face plate.
Note: To remove the lower left hold-down screw, gently lift the corner of the key-
pad away for access.
6. Unplug the solenoid connector and pull the ribbon cable through the
gooseneck.
