Troubleshooting
Handpiece vibrates, is very noisy
and/ or becomes warm in the
front part
Use of bent burs/ tools
Use a
different bur/ tool to test this.
The bur/tool itself can be tested
with the hadewe Bur Shaft
Tester (Art. No. 4990) to see, if it
is bent.
Maximum allowed speed of the
tool
was
exceeded,
which
caused a stronger vibration

The unit has no function at all
Press the reset switch located
under the unit. The unit should
now be fully functional again.
If a fuse is blown, let the fuse be
exchanged by a professional
service point, following these
instructions:
The plug has to be removed
from the connected charging
unit. Switch the unit off, and
make sure that the handpiece is
secured in a way, where it
cannot cause damage or injury
in case of an unintended start of
the drill. Unscrew the 2 screws
at the bottom of the unit, and
then remove the unit’s upper
housing. Now exchange the
fuse. The exact type of fuse to
be used can be seen under
technical data. Screw the upper
housing on again.
Handpiece motor stutters shortly
(appr. 1 sec) when turning unit
on
In very rare cases this effect did
appear. It will not harm or
damage the device.
Unit makes clicking sound, when
not in use.
To ensure that the charge of the
accumulators
is
not
used
unnecessarily,
the
unit
will
switch to an energy saving
mode, if the unit is not used. In
this modus the unit will switch
itself one every 4 seconds for 1
