Operation 

 

Only people that are familiar with the operation of the lifting devices and cranes may be entrusted with their 
operation. They must be authorized by the employer for the operation of the equipment. The employer must 
ensure that the operating instructions are available near the equipment and that they are accessible for the 
operating personnel.  

 

Lifting and lowering by turning the hand crank. 

Lifting load – turn clockwise. 

 

 

Hold load – release hand crank. The load holds 
automatically. Acc. The different types, the crank 
can removed in each position or the crank grip 
can fold back. 

 

 

Lowering load – turn anti clockwise. 

 

 

 

Wirerope winch from 2000 kg capacity and up 

 

By changing the crank to the other driving point, it is easier 
to move larger loads. 

 

 

 

7.1 

Free-wheeling mechanism of the drum 

For engaging or disengaging of the drum for controlled feeding-out of the uncharged wirerope. 

Disengaging 

  Turn the drum approx. 40 mm in direction A. 

  Push the disengaging pin in direction C. 

The wirerope can now be unwinded by hand 
freely.

Engaging 

  Push the disengaging pin in direction B. 

  Turn the rope drum until it stops. 

The winch now is ready to lift again.

The following is not allowed: 

  Disengaging under load. 

  Manipulation of the disengaging device. 

 

7.2 

Brake as slipping clutch to disengage the drum 

Adjustment of the slipping clutch 

  4 Loosen the safety screws (1) 

  Adjust the slipping clutch at the set ring (2) 

direction A = brake pressure increases, 
direction B = brake pressure decreases 

  4 Tighten the safety screws (1) again.
