Connection of phase cables
The motor has M4 screw terminals for connecting
the phase cables.
Prepared connection cables can simply be
screwed to the terminals and replaced if
necessary.
Please look at the information in the operating
manuals for the converter you are using and
select an electrical connection with sufficient
current carrying capacity.
HINT
Be sure to use the supplied spring washers when installing the cable lugs on the connection
terminals. These are intended to help prevent unintentional loosening of the screw
connection. Note the sequence: terminal/cable lug/washer/spring washer/screw

Due to the direct connection to the alternating current supply network
The motor must only be operated with a suitable speed controller and it must never be
connected directly to a power supply.
The motor must never be connected directly to the 230 or 400V AC mains.
