8. Click on Use the Following IP Address and enter 192.168.154.29. Take the default
subnet mask when offered and click
OK
to close “My Network Places”.
9. Open the Internet browser.
10. From the main toolbar select Tools>Internet Options>Connections>LAN settings.
Make sure that “Automatically Detect Settings” is not selected.
11. Enter the sc1000 IP address; 192.168.154.30. Select Login without password.
To Upload New Software:
Always refer to the instructions provided with the software upgrade.
12. Select update and then portable unit.
13. Transfer one of the three files to the browser and continue to upload the file until
complete. Repeat for the other files (always upload files one at a time).
14. Reboot the sc1000 by disconnecting and reconnecting the display module from the
probe module, or by cycling power to the probe module.
5.7 Configuring New Components
When new components are installed in the controller, they must be registered and
configured in the system.
1. From the System Setup>Device Management Menu, select Scanning for New
Devices and select the
ENTER
button.
2. Wait for the system to finish scanning. A window with a list of the new devices is then
displayed. Choose the new devices and select the
ENTER
button.
