6.1 Command Line Interface
VG 10-10/10-11 voice gateway provides basic maintenance commands for
administrators (admin). You can perform basic maintenance and query system
information of the voice gateway by using Command Line Interface (CLI).
The CLI features the following:
z
Remote maintenance through Telnet connection.
z
Provides online help when you enter “?” or “help”.
z
Provides network diagnostic commands to test whether the network works
normally or not, such as the
ping
command.
z
Provides debugging information for the system basic function to troubleshoot
network.
6.1.1 Setting up Telnet Connection
You can execute telnet program on PC. If the telnet connection is set up successfully,
the system will prompt you to enter the administrator’s password “admin”. After
correctly entering the password, you will go into the system view of the voice gateway.
6.1.2 Online Help
On the ASCII terminal, type “?” or “help”, and then press <Enter> to view all the
commands and related brief descriptions in the current view.
