Chapter 5 Software Maintenance

The VG manages three categories of files, namely,

Boot ROM program file

Application program file

Configuration file

Software maintenance of the VG is primarily the maintenance of

these files, including the upload and download of Boot ROM program,

application program, and configuration file.

5.1 Boot Menu

This section introduces the Boot Menu that is used during the VG

software maintenance.

Build up a configuration environment according to “Figure 4-1

Setting up Configuration Environments”, and then boot the VG.
