8.12.5 Installing a Memory Module
Follow these steps to install a memory module:
1) Locate the card (RPE-X1 or FIP-100/FIP-200) to which you will install a memory
module, and put the card on a flat worktable.
2)
Align the polarization notch of the memory module with the key in the connector.
3)
Insert the memory module into the slot.
4)
Carefully and firmly press the memory module at both ends until you hear a click.
This indicates the memory module is seated in the connector.
5)
Check that the release latches have firmly locked the memory module in position.

Install the memory module
Caution:
Do not touch the surface-mounted components of the memory module directly with
your hands. Hold the memory module only at its non-conductive edge. Because a
memory module is vulnerable to ESD, improper operation may damage it.
