either a string of 1 to 16 characters in plain text or a string of 24 characters in cipher
text.
Description
Use the
md5-password
command to enable LDP MD5 authentication and set the
password, which must be the same as that configured on the peer.
Use the
undo md5-password
command to disable LDP MD5 authentication.
By default, LDP MD5 authentication is disabled.
Changing of the password will cause the session to be reestablished and all existing
LSPs related to the session to be deleted.
This command takes effect only when MPLS LDP is enabled in the corresponding view.

# Enable MD5 authentication for the public network LDP, setting the password display
mode to plain text.
