Configuring BFD MAD
Before you configure BFD MAD, choose a BFD MAD link scheme as described in "

IMPORTANT:
To avoid the risk of broadcast storms pertinent to full mesh topology, use an intermediate device to
set up BFD MAD if the IRF fabric contains more than two member devices.
As a best practice, connect the BFD MAD links after you finish the BFD MAD configuration.
