Solution
To resolve the issue:
1.
Verify that the IPP is operating correctly:
a.
Execute the
display interface
command to examine the IPP for faults such as CRC
errors.
b.
If the physical ports at the two ends of the IPL are SFP+ or QSFP+ ports that use optical
fibers and transceiver modules for physical connections, execute the
display
transceiver diagnosis
command. Verify that the receive power and transmit power of
each port do not exceed the upper limits of the transceiver module.
2.
Examine each card that contains IPP physical member ports for a reboot event:
a.
Execute the
display version
command to identify the uptime of the card.
b.
If the card has rebooted, resolve the issue as described in "
3.
Examine each DR member device for a reboot event:
a.
Execute the
display version
command to identify the uptime of the MPUs on the
device.
b.
If one of the DR member devices has rebooted, resolve the issue as described in
"
Troubleshooting hardware
."
