3.3.2 Installing a Power Module
In the 1+1 standard configuration mode, the power module of an IX1000 is installed in
the chassis before delivery; there is no need to install it on site.
3.3.3 Installing the Power Cable Buckle
To install the power cable buckle, proceed as follows:
1) Take out the power cable buckle from the package. (The appearance of the buckle
is shown in Figure 3-4 .) Move it near the mounting brackets of the power module
on the rear panel of the IX1000 chassis, as shown in Figure 3-5 .
2) Press the two sides of the buckle hardly with your fingers in the arrow directions
shown in Figure 3-5 to narrow the distance between the two hooks at the front end
of the buckle. Insert hook 1 into mounting bracket hole 1 of the power module.
Press the two buckle sides harder to insert hook 2 into mounting bracket hole 2 of
the power module.
3) Release your hand. The power cable buckle will restore to its original shape
because of its elasticity, so that the hooks will clench tightly to the mounting
brackets of the power module.
