3. Do the same thing with the other pant leg (6.a).
4. When done correctly, there are two electrodes on the glutes,
two electrodes on the front part of the thighs and two elec-
trodes on the back part of the thighs. Now make a final check
to adjust all the quick opening and closing system strips and
ensure that the pants (6) are perfectly adjusted to your skin.
You should feel comfortable.
Connecting the Suit to the Gymform® ELECTRO FITNESS
TRAINER unit (see Figure 2):
1. Make sure the unit (1) is turned off.
2. Connect the pant cable (6.d) into the unit (1) via the console
connection for pants (7).
3. Connect the vest cable (5.d) to the unit (1) via the console
connection for the vest (19).
Using the Gymform® ELECTRO FITNESS TRAINER unit (see
Figure 3)
The unit menu is intuitive. The more you use the device, the
easier it will be.
1. Press the ON/OFF button (9) to turn on the unit (1). The dis-
play (8) will come on.
2. The Gymform® ELECTRO FITNESS TRAINER unit (1) has the
following functions to choose from:
A. PROGRAMME MODES (15): There are six different program-
me modes. The word MODE is shown on the display (8).
B. INTENSITY LEVELS (16) of eight different muscle groups.
C. WORKOUT TIME (17).
In the lower left of the display (8), there is a battery symbol (18)
that indicates the remaining battery life. When the symbol is
flashing, you should change the batteries very soon because
they are about to go dead.
3. BUTTON FUNCTIONS:
A. ON/OFF button (9): Used to turn the unit on and off.
B. UP BUTTON (10): Used to move up on the display (8) and
to increase the amounts in specific functions (Programme,
Intensity Level and Time)
C. DOWN BUTTON (11): Used to move down on the display (8)
and to decrease the amount in specific functions (Program-
me, Intensity Level and Time)
D. MASTER BUTTON (12): Used to change the intensity of all
muscle groups at the same time.
E. SET BUTTON (13): Used to select and validate each function
chosen on the display (8). Each time you choose a function,
programme or level, press the set button to validate it and go
on to the next option.
F. STOP BUTTON (14): When this button is pressed, the device
will stop emitting current. If you feel uncomfortable and want
to stop the exercise immediately, press this button. All the
intensity levels will go back to 0.
PROGRAMME SELECTION
1. Use the UP button (10) and the DOWN button (11) to move up
and down the display (8) until you select the MODE function.
2. Then press the SET button (13) to select this function.
3. You’ll notice that the numbers to the right of the word MODE
will start to blink. Use the UP button (10) and the DOWN but-
ton (11) to choose the desired programme.
4. Then validate the chosen program by pressing the SET but-
ton (13).
5. You can choose from the following programme modes:

Programme 1: General Conditioning:
Programme to become familiar with electrical muscle stimu-
lation. This is a good level to start using the product. It is also
designed for general body conditioning and maintenance. It will
keep you in shape. Programme designed for use with the DVD
Personal Trainer Guide (20-minute workout).
Programme 2: Abdominals:
This programme is designed to tone all the muscle groups, es-
pecially the abs.
Programme designed for use with the DVD Personal Trainer
Guide (20-minute workout).
Programme 3: Cardiovascular Exercise:
Programmed designed to help slim down your figure.
Programme designed for use with the DVD Personal Trainer
Guide (20-minute workout).
Programme 4: Muscle Development:
Programme designed to strengthen and increase your muscles.
Programme designed for use with the DVD Personal Trainer Gui-
de (20-minute workout).
Programme 5: Massage and Drainage:
Programme designed to use massage or drainage to relax your
muscles after a workout session. Should be used 5 or 10 minu-
tes after using a different programme.
Programme 6: Glutes and Thighs:
Programme designed to work on the glute and thigh area, as
well as all the areas where fat accumulates, such as the sto-
mach (ab area), the back and the chest. Use this programme
with the exercises described in the Exercise Guide booklet.
Tip for beginners: The first few times you use the product, we
recommend that you choose a program that provides a plea-
sant experience and a good sensation and that you do not
pursue other benefits. One such option is Program 5: Massage
and Drainage. Start with low intensity levels at your own pace
and follow the exercise instructions on the DVD or the Exercise
Guide booklet. Become familiar with the device and gradually
increase the intensity level if you wish. We recommend doing it
in the first few sessions.
SELECTING THE INTENSITY LEVEL
After selecting the programme you want to work on, you have
to choose the intensity level of the eight different muscle groups
the Gymform® ELECTRO FITNESS TRAINER works on. As
shown on the display (8) of the unit (1), the muscle groups are
as follows (see Figure 5):
A) Trapezius
B) Chest*
C) Arms
D) Abdominals
E) Lumbar
F) Glutes
G) Front of thigh
H) Back of thigh
1. Use the UP button (10) and the DOWN button (11) to move
up and down the display (8) until you select the muscle group
you want to work on.
2. Select by pressing the SET button (13).
3. When the number starts blinking, choose the desired in-
tensity level by going up with the UP button (10) and going
down with the DOWN button (11). As you increase the inten-
sity level, you will feel the intensity in the different targeted
muscle groups.
4. When you have reached the desired intensity level, validate
it by pressing the SET button (13). As you increase the inten-
sity level, you will feel the intensity in the different targeted
muscle groups.
5. Repeat the process for all the muscle groups you want to
work on.
6. MASTER FUNCTION: When the MASTER button (12) is pres-
sed, the levels for all the muscle groups blink at the same
time and the intensity level of all of them can be raised or
lowered at the same time. Tip: Once you have become fami-
liar with the product. A practical approach is to start with the
MASTER function and increase the intensity level of all the
muscle groups at the same time. Then you can individua-
lly adjust the intensity depending on the sensitivity of each
muscle group and the performance level you are seeking in
each area.
7. Now you can choose the workout time. The default workout
time is 30 minutes, but you can set the number of minutes
you want. Just 15 to 20 minutes a day is enough to achieve
excellent results.
8. Go to the TIME function by pressing the UP button (10) and
the DOWN button (11). When the numbers start blinking, se-
lect using the SET button (13).
9. Then choose the workout time using the UP button (17) and
the DOWN button (11). Validate your choice by pressing the
SET button (13).
* Women should pay special attention if they want to use the
electrodes in the chest area, as the sensation can be unpleasant
in this sensitive area. Start with very low intensity levels and
stop if there is any feeling of discomfort.
Once you have chosen all the functions, you can start working
out. You can choose to follow the exercises in the DVD Personal
Trainer Guide (20-minute workout) or you can do the exercises
explained in the Exercise Guide booklet.
• DVD Personal Trainer Guide (20-minute workout): Insert the
DVD in the DVD player. Before starting the DVD, choose from
programmes 1, 2, 3 and 4 on your Gymform® Electro Fitness
Trainer unit. Then choose the desired intensity levels and the
20-minute workout time. Once the unit (1) is operating, start
playing the DVD and do the same exercises in real time as
the personal trainer is doing in the DVD. While you do the
exercises, the Gymform® Electro Fitness Trainer suit will be
working your muscles simultaneously to obtain the benefits
of the chosen programme.
If at any time you find it is difficult for you to do an exercise on
the DVD due to the high intensity level chosen for a specific
muscle group, lower the intensity level to continue with the
workout.
• Exercise Guide booklet: Read the booklet and choose the
exercises you want to do. Follow all the instructions on each
exercise.
During the workout session, you can modify any of the functions
on the unit without stopping your workout. You can modify the
intensity level, the workout time and the programme while the
unit is still operating.
When changing programmes, make sure you lower the inten-
sity levels first. Remember that a fast way to do it is to use the
MASTER button (12). Otherwise, the intensities you have chosen
for the current programme may not be appropriate for the new
programme you choose.
Note:
Normal product performance may be altered by electrostatic
disturbances. To return to normal operation, press the RESET
button (21), which is inside the unit (1), by inserting a thin object
into the hole and pushing.
AUTO OFF FUNCTION
If there is no activity for one minute, the display (8) will auto-
matically shut off.
MEMORY FUNCTION
Each time you turn on the Gymform® ELECTRO FITNESS
TRAINER unit, the display (8) will show the settings of the last
workout session, i.e. the same programme, same intensity le-
vels of the muscle groups and the same workout time.
This function is very practical because it means you do not have
to change the settings every time you want to work out. If you
want to repeat the same workout session, press the SET button
(13).
WARNING:
If you decide to repeat the programme from the
previous workout session, when you press the SET button (13),
the programme will begin with the same settings as the last
workout session. Gymform® ELECTRO FITNESS TRAINER will
not supply the full intensity all at once, but will gradually increa-
se the intensity in a few seconds’ time. However, if the intensity
level selected is too high, we recommend you start program-
ming the workout from the beginning.
END OF WORKOUT
We recommend drinking a lot of water at the end of the
workout. Besides hydrating the body, it helps to naturally eli-
minate burned-off fat with the help of the lymphatic system.
When you finish the workout session, turn off the unit. Discon-
nect the pants (6) and the vest (5) from the unit.
Loosen the adjustable straps as shown in Figure 7 and take off
the vest (5) and pants (6).
We recommend cleaning the suit when you finish a workout
session. See the Cleaning and Maintenance section below.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
DO NOT WASH the vest (5) or the pants (6) of the Gymform®
ELECTRO FITNESS TRAINER in the washing machine or by
hand: JUST WIPE WITH A DAMP CLOTH AND ALLOW TO AIR DRY.
The unit (1) can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use pro-
ducts containing contaminants or acids, as they may damage
the device.
Do not use products containing chemical abrasives to clean the
electrodes.
To extend the life of the suit, follow the washing and maintenan-
ce instructions and use the suit with care. After each workout,
the suit should be cleaned and dried and then stored with care.
Store the suit with all the quick opening and closing system
strips closed for the best maintenance.
PRECAUTIONS WITH BATTERIES
Ensure the batteries are properly installed before turning the
unit on.
Turn off the unit to change the batteries.
Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the device for
an extended period of time.
Take the necessary precautions when disposing of the batte-
ries. Do not expose them to fire.
Remove the batteries from your Gymform® ELECTRO FITNESS
TRAINER if you do not plan to use it for an extended period of
time.
DISPOSAL OF MATERIALS
A symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin means you
should find out about and follow local regulations
about disposing of this kind of product.
Do not dispose of this product as you would other
household waste. Dispose of this device in accor-
dance with the corresponding local regulations.
Electrical and electronic devices contain hazardous substances

health and should be recycled properly.
The battery should be disposed of separately. To protect the en-
