How to Use the Instrument 

 

Background 

The following section will introduce to you 
how to access the basic functions on the DMM 
as well as how to navigate the menu system 
and edit the parameter values.  

Using the 
Function keys 

Any of the primary functions can be used by 
simply pressing the desired function key. 
For example:  
To activate the DCV function, press the DCV 
key.

To activate a secondary function, first press the 
SHIFT key followed by the function key for the 
secondary function. 
For example: To activate DCI measurement, 
first press the SHIFT key. SHIFT will be 
highlighted on the display. Next, press the 
DCV function key. This will activate the DCI 
mode.
