7. PUMPS GO OFF RATIO – The ratio of each chemical is determined by the number
of cycles it dispenses per a given amount of time. The Flow Control Adjustment
screws located on the two hydraulic pumps mounted to the motor determines this
cycle rate. The further in the adjustment is, the slower or the less output the system
will dispense. The further out the adjustment is, the faster or the more output the
system will dispense. The most likely causes of an off-ratio condition are:
a) The Pressure Compensator adjustment is set too low; each hydraulic pump
should be set to 1200 psi.
b) The over-pressure switch is set too high; the over-pressure switch should
interrupt the pumping circuit before the system goes off ratio.
8. AUDIBLE ALARM - Audible alarm can only be reset if the high- or low-pressure
condition is removed.
9. PUMPS DON’T OPERATE WHEN GUN IS TRIGGERED – the H-20/35 VR
requires a special dispensing gun that will electrically start and stop the pump circuit
of the system. This gun contains a switch that senses a magnet in the gun piston.
When the piston of the gun retracts, the magnetic switch closes and completes an
electrical circuit, enabling the unit to start dispensing. The most likely causes of non-
operating pumps are:
a) Incorrect gun being used
b) Magnetic switch on the dispensing gun out of adjustment
c) Magnetic switch wire between gun and dispensing unit is broken
d) Faulty gun trigger relay

WARNING:
T
O AVOID SEVERE BODILY INJURY OR DEATH FROM ELECTRIC SHOCK
, DO NOT
PERFORM THESE TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES WITHOUT FIRST SWITCHING OFF THE MAIN
POWER DISCONNECT AND INTERRUPTING SUPPLY VOLTAGE AT THE SOURCE
. D
O NOT ENTER
THE ELECTRIC CONSOLE WITH THE MAIN POWER DISCONNECT ON
.
Try the recommended solutions in the order given for each problem to avoid unnecessary
repairs. Also, determine that all circuit breakers, switches, and controls are properly set
before assuming there is a problem.
