6 Operation
6.1 General
Only operate the product after observing the installation instructions.
For information on operating the product, refer to the appropriate chapter of
the documentation for the complete system.
6.2 Personnel qualifications
Only appropriately trained and authorized technicians are allowed to work on
the product.
6.3 Operating mode
The emptying time mode is accepted as the standard at Güdel. Reference is
made to this operating mode in the lubrication recommendation and in the
lubricant quantity calculator. The details on other operating modes are to be
considered as supplementary information.
The product has two operating modes:
Emptying time mode Et
The emptying time mode Et enables the setting of the number of strokes "c"
and the emptying time of the lubricant cartridge in months. Emptying times
can be set between 1…36 months and hub strokes "c" between 1…30.
Hour mode -h-
The hour mode -h- enables the setting of the number of strokes "c" and a
pause time "h" between two dispensing processes. Pause times "h" can be set
between 1…240 months and hub strokes "c" between 1…30.
