Attaching the load

Attach the load as follows:

The load has been attached.

7.7.3

Integrating the product

Integrate the product into the complete system. Connect the product with
the supply lines for energy and consumables. For information on the proce-
dure, refer to the documentation on the complete system.

WARNING

Falling axes/components/workpieces

The motor torques must be limited to protect against overload of the me-
chanical system (e.g. in case of emergency stop). It is not immediately appar-
ent whether components have been weakened or are defective. If the prod-
uct continues to be used, axes, components or workpieces may fall down.
Falling axes, components or workpieces can cause physical damage, and seri-
ous or fatal injuries!

• Always reduce the torque of the motor in all operating modes according

to the technical data in the appendix.

• Make sure that the protective equipment is attached to the product

(emergency guideways).

• Protect persons from falling or ejected components or workpieces with

your own mechanical or separating protective equipment in accordance
with the risk analysis.

• Deliberately accept material damage to the product if your own risk analy-

sis requires an emergency stop at a higher torque than permissible accord-
ing to technical data. In such a case, your own separating protective equip-
ment is mandatory. Shut down the product immediately after an overload.
Contact a Güdel service department immediately. Güdel will then carry
out a general detailed inspection and release the product for operation
again. Further operation is prohibited without Güdel's approval.
