Safety measures 

Always wear firm shoes and long trousers when vacuuming. Do 
not suck when barefooted or in light sandals. 
Inspect the terrain on which the appliance is to be used and 
remove all items unable to be vacuumed. 
 

Safety instructions for the first putting into operation 

 
Work only in broad daylight or under good artificial lighting.  
Always ensure good stability, especially on slopes. 
Guide the appliance at a step rate. 
Be especially careful when changing direction on slopes. Never 
vacuum on too steep slopes (max. 30°). 
If the appliance needs to be inclined then turn off the engine. 
Never use the appliance if safety devices or protecting grids are 
damaged or when safety devices are not installed. 
The operating person must keep a distance from the appliance 
set by the rods at all works with the appliance, especially when 
turning!  
Do not change the control engine setting and refrain from 
overrevving. 
Start the engine carefully according to the producer's 
instructions. Ensure sufficient distance of your legs from the 
suction nozzle. 
Never put your hands or legs on or under the rotary parts.  
Look for any damage before starting your work and execute all 
necessary repairs. 
Switch the appliance immediately off in case of any function 
failure. Have the failure removed without delay. 
 

Maintenance and storing 

 
Make sure that all nuts, screws and bolts are tightened and the 
appliance is in a safe operational state. 
 

Use as designed 
 
The appliance corresponds to the EU Machinery Directive 
in force. 
 
Proper use 

The appliance is designed for general cleaning. 
Any other use is considered a use in conflict with the appliance 
purpose. 

Use the appliance only in dry weather and on a dry 

surface (never use the appliance when wet). 

The producer is not responsible for any consequential damage 
as the risk is explicitly bore by the user. Following the given 
producer's instructions for operation, maintenance and 
treatment is a presumption for the proper designated use. Any 
changes to the appliance will result in the expiry of the 
producer's guarantee for any consequential damage. The 
appliance is not suitable for vacuuming of inflammable, 
explosive, toxic, carcinogenic or other substances and materials 
harmful to health. 
 

Do not vacuum any burning or live items such as 

cigarettes, matches, etc. 
If you remove glass, metal or other materials from the 
collection tank with your hands it is necessary to wear 
protective gloves to prevent injuries. 
Insufficient lighting represents a high safety risk. 

Always ensure sufficient lighting when working with the 
appliance. 
 

Disposal 

 
The disposal instructions are based on icons placed on the 
appliance or its package. The description of their meaning can 
be found in the “Marking on the appliance“ chapter. 
 
 
 

Handling requirements 

 
The operating staff must carefully read the Operating 
Instructions before using the appliance. 
 

Qualification  

 
Apart from the detailed instruction by a professional no special 
qualification is necessary for using the appliance. 
 

Minimum age 

 
Only persons over 16 years of age can work with the appliance.  
An exception includes youngsters if they work within their 
professional education the purpose of which is to obtain 
knowledge supervised by a trainer. 
 

Assembly/first putting into operation 

 
1.  Remove the appliance from the package and first install the 

leaf collection bag. The bag is hung on the bottom part of 
the cover and snapped in by pressing the blocking button 
(pic. 5 and 6). 

2.  The operating handle can be blocked in several positions 

by pressing the blocking button (pic. 2). 

3.  The operating height can continuously be adjusted by a 

screw on the guide rod (pic. 2) 

4.  Switching between the suction and blowing is done by 

turning the operating button (pic. 4) 

5.  Electric cables can be inserted in the operating handle from 

below (see pic. 3) to ensure relief in tension. 

6.  Due to a zip, the leaf collection bag can easily be emptied 

(see pic. 7) 

7.  The leaf collection bag is carried by the handle (see pic. 8). 
 

Operation  

 

Engine switch-on 

Put the switch on the operating handle to “ON“ position 

 

 
Engine switch-off 

Put the switch on the operating handle to “OFF“ position 

 
Operating mode

 

The switch on the operating handle needs to be put to 
"OFF" position and the engine turned off as quickly as 
possible in dangerous situations and at accidents. 
Make always sure the cooling air could continuously be 
sucked by the engine in the operating mode (leaves can 
block the suction ports).

 

 
Inspections and maintenance 

 
Have repairs executed by a trained professional only. 

Disconnect the plug before any modification, adjusting or 
maintenance of the appliance!

Regular maintenance is necessary for faultless working of 
your appliance. 

Especially the suction nozzle and leaf collection bag need to be 
carefully cleaned and treated to prevent damages and 
accidents. 
Before starting with the maintenance work: 

- disconnect the plug, 
- put the appliance to a stable position, 
- wait until the engine cools down.
