1.2 Safety instructions
Safety instructions for using the locking drive
Mortal danger from electric shock!
NEVER connect the 24 V DC drive to 230 V!
Under no circumstances must the case of the drive
be opened!
Low-voltage lines (up to 24 V) and power lines must
be laid separately!
Flexible cables must not be covered with plaster,
free-hanging cables must be relieved from strain.
During installation and when extending cables, the
regulations and standards for SELV voltage, the
VDE regulations and the regulations of the local
grid must be observed.
Disconnect all components from the mains before
carrying out any work on the installation or the
control unit.
DANGER
Be careful in handling electricity! The appropriate installation requires
general electrical and mechanical knowledge, as is to be expected from a
skilled and safety-conscious expert.
Examine the delivered equipment immediately
upon receipt and check it for possible transport
damage.
If damaged, the drive must not be installed.
WARNING
Risk of fire from cable cross sections that are too
small!
Use suitable cable cross sections for the voltage.
