Reading messages

This menu allows you to display messages collected via the reception satellite. Such
messages could e.g. inform you of software updates.

• Press the

MENU

button.

to confirm.

USB port

The satellite receiver is equipped with a USB port. This can be used to connect a PC,
a USB stick or a hard disc.
The USB port conforms to the USB 2.0 standard.

Storage devices can be supplied with operating voltage of max. 500 mA via
the USB port. Storage devices requiring a higher power input need their own
mains adapter.

When connecting a device to the USB port the following messages can appear on
the screen:

USB - Mounting

Message appears after connecting a storage de-
vice to the USB port.

USB - Check Disk

—> Storage device is checked for possible mistakes.

–

USB - Init: Fail

—> An error has occurred during initialization.

The USB storage device must be formatted to
FAT32.

—> The USB storage device has been initialised.

USB - Removed

—> The USB storage device has been removed.
