8.5.7 Signal quality and signal strength
The menu points “ Signal quality ” and “ Signal strength ” cannot be set. They merely
indicate the quality and the strength of the antenna signal provided.

8.6 Channel search
This satellite receiver was programmed with most digital TV and radio stations, e.g.
on the satellite Astra 19.2° East, as default settings. These can be displayed in the
menus “
Main TV List ” and “ Main Radio List ” by pressing OK , TV/R and

As satellite channels are constantly being added and satellite data altered, we recom-
mend starting the search “
Automatic Channel Search ” on the satellite receiver from
time to time and updating the channel list.
8.6.1 Automatic channel search
In the automatic channel search, the selected satellite is scanned for new channels
and a current channel list is generated. This menu allows you to set the following para-
meters for the channel search:
- Channel scan mode
- Search for all or unencrypted channels
- Satellite

• In the menu “ Settings ” use the

the line “ Channel Search ” and confirm using OK .
