Chapter 6: Stiffeners

Base Stiffener (5 Ga.) to a Base Boot (10 Ga.)

Reference the following information when connecting a base stiffener to a base boot.

NOTE:

Only place bolts where holes in the stiffeners

align with holes in the sidewall sheet.

This chart gives the gauge of stiffener to use for each sidewall ring of the bin. The gauges that span two
columns represent a two ring stiffener.
