Charging the battery
The appliance runs with the built-in,
rechargeable nickel cadmium bat-
tery. Use the power supply unit sup-
plied and the charging unit for
charging the appliance.

Put the contacts of the
appliance into the contact in
the charging unit.
2 Plug the power supply unit into
the
socket on the charging
unit.
3 Plug the power supply unit into
the wall socket.
– The indicator
lights up red.

Charge up the battery completely
(eight hours) before you first use
it or if you have not used it for a
long time.

The charging time for a complete-
ly discharged battery is eight
hours.

The ambient temperature should
be between 5 °C and 40 °C.

When fully charged, the
appliance works for around 20-
25 minutes. It is not advisable to
charge the battery after every
use, especially if you do not use
the appliance for the full 20-25
minutes. Only charge the battery
when it is completely discharged.
This increases its life. Do not
charge it every day.
