Setting the QAM modulation
• Set the QAM mode with

—> A higher QAM mode restricts the output symbol rate
(permissible value < 7,000 kilosymbols per second).
An output QAM mode of > 64 QAM places a large
burden on the cable network. Due to noise, delay
and frequency response problems, a reception of
the converted output signal can be impeded.
