2.4.1 Torque for terminal box cover screws
Torque: 1.6 - 2 Nm.
2.4.2 Motor protection
Single-phase motors
Single-phase motors are supplied with built-in
thermal protection, according to IEC 60034-11,
against thermal overload with both rapid and slow
variation.
Three-phase motors
Three-phase motors must be protected by a motor-
protective circuit breaker according to local
regulations.
MG motors of 3.0 kW or up are supplied with thermal
switches (PTC) as standard and are protected
against thermal overload with both rapid and slow
variation. The motor protection is stated on the
nameplate.
2.4.3 Terminal box positions
The terminal box can be turned to three positions, in
90° steps, see fig.
.
Proceed as follows:
1. Remove the four bolts securing the motor to the
motor stool.
2. Turn the motor to the required position.
3. Replace and tighten the four bolts.
The electric motor must be connected to the supply
as shown in the diagram inside the terminal box
cover.

2.4.4 Plug connections
The pumps can be fitted with a 10-pin multiplug
connection, type Han
®
10 ES.
The purpose of a multiplug connection is to make the
electrical installation and the service of the pump
easier.
