10.16 "Ramps"
The ramps determine how quickly the motor can
accelerate and decelerate during start/stop or
setpoint changes.
You can set the following:
•
acceleration time, 0.1 to 300 s
•
deceleration time, 0.1 to 300 s.
The times apply to the acceleration from 0 rpm to
maximum (fixed) speed and the deceleration from
maximum (fixed) speed to 0 rpm, respectively.
At short deceleration times, the deceleration of the
motor may depend on load and inertia as there is no
possibility of actively braking the motor.
If the power supply is switched off, the deceleration
of the motor only depends on load and inertia.

10.17 "Direction of rotation"
Select the desired direction of rotation of the motor
when seen from the drive end:
•
clockwise
•
counter-clockwise.
The displayed direction of rotation applies when the
digital inputs for reversing the rotation are not active.

and
10.18 "Skip band"
Select a skip band within the range from user-set
minimum speed to user-set maximum speed if
continuous operation is not required. The upper and
lower speeds are stated in % of rated speed.
The purpose of the skip band is to avoid certain
speeds which may cause noise or vibrations. If no
skip band is required, select "-".
10.19 ""Standstill heating""
You can use the function to avoid condensation in
humid environments. When you set the function to
""Active"" and the motor is in operating mode
""Stop"", a low AC voltage is applied to the motor
windings. The voltage is not high enough to make
the motor rotate but ensures that sufficient heat is
generated to avoid condensation in the motor
including the electronic parts in the drive.
10.20 ""Motor bearing monitoring""
You can set the "motor bearing monitoring" function
to these values:
•
""Active""
•
""Not active"".
When the function is set to ""Active"", a counter in
the controller starts counting the mileage of the
bearings.

Remember to remove the drain plugs and
fit a cover over the motor.
The counter continues counting even if
you change the function to ""Not active"",
but a warning will not be given when it is
time for replacement.
When you change the function to ""Active""
again, the accumulated mileage is again
used to calculate the replacement time.
