Ambient temperature(0°C to +40°C)

For explosion proof pumps, the ambient temperature on the installation
site must be in the range between 0°C to +40°C.
2.6.3
Level of pumped liquid
•
For pumps fully submerged pumps without cooling jacket, the lowest stop level
must be above the stator housing.

The pump weight is stated on the pump nameplate.
•
Install an additional level switch to ensure that the pump is stopped in case the
stop level switch is not operating.
•
For a short period of time it is allowed to use the pump to pump down the water
level to remove the float layer. For explosion proof pumps it is not allowed to
go below the stop levels.
•
For a submerged pump, the lowest stop level must always be above the pump
housing. To ensure adequate cooling of the motor during operation, the
following minimum requirements must be met :

For continuous operation, the pump must always be covered by the
pumped liquid to the top of the motor
