Various CIM modules are available, depending on the type of
network. The CIM module must be fitted in CU 362. See the
installation and operating instructions for CU 362.
For configuration of the CIM module, see the installation and
operating instructions and the functional profile on the CD-ROM
supplied with the module.

8.3.1 Communication modules

CU 362 supports various CIM modules. When mounting a CIM
module, CU 362 automatically recognises the type of CIM module,
but each communication module has a series of configuration
submenus and special functions described on the following pages.
CU 362 supports these CIM modules:

CIM 060 Grundfos GO via radio

CIM 150 Profibus DP

CIM 200 (Modbus RTU via RS-485)
- Modbus TCP via GPRS
- Modbus RTU via GSM

8.3.2 CIM 200 (Modbus via RS-485)

The CIM 200 module transfers data between CU 362 and the local
Modbus network. See the figure below.
Use the Functional profile and user manual "Grundfos CIM 200,
Modbus RTU for Grundfos Dedicated Controls".

8.3.3 CIM 250/260 (Modbus and SMS via GSM/GPRS)

The CIM 250/260 module transfers data between CU 362 and a
GSM/GPRS network. See the figure below.
When CIM 250/260 is installed in the system, several settings have
to be made before CIM 250/260 is ready to communicate with
mobile phones and SCADA systems.
Before CIM 250/260 can be used to send or receive SMS
messages via GSM/GPRS, these settings must be made:

A series of system parameters must be set before SMS
messaging can be used.

SMS schedule

SMS heartbeat message

SMS authentication

GSM and SIM card settings

SCADA settings

Interlock settings

GPRS settings

CIM 250/260 can send or receive SMS messages to or from one or
more mobile phones. See section about SMS numbers.
CIM 250/260 can also send data to a remote SCADA system.

GSM for Grundfos Dedicated Controls" on the CD-ROM supplied
with the module.
