10 Dismantling and disposal
10.1 Dismantling
The work described herein represents an intervention into your drinking water system.
Have this work performed by specialist installers only.
1. Close the raw water shut-off valve.
2. Open a water withdrawal point.
3. Wait for a few seconds.
» The pressure in the product and the pipe network is being relieved.
4. Close the water withdrawal point.
5. Disconnect the product from mains.
6. Separate the product from the connection hoses.
Keep a collecting vessel (e.g. a bucket) handy to catch escaping water.
7. Separate the connection hoses from the connection block.
8. Dismantle the connection block.
9. Close the gap in your drinking water pipe, e.g. by using a fitting piece:
(order no. 128 001 for softliQ:MD32 or order no. 128401 for softliQ:MD38).
