SECTION 6: MAINTENANCE
For optimum performance from this machine, this
maintenance schedule must be strictly followed.
Ongoing
To minimize your risk of injury and maintain proper
machine operation, shut down the machine imme-
diately if you ever observe any of the items below,
and fix the problem before continuing operations:
• Loose mounting bolts.
• Worn or damaged wires.
• Any other unsafe condition.
Weekly Maintenance
•
Clean machine.
• Clean dies.
• Lubricate die contact areas/eccentric shaft.
Schedule
To reduce risk of shock or
accidental startup, always
disconnect machine from
power before adjustments,
maintenance, or service.
Cleaning the Model T32717 is relatively easy.
Vacuum excess metal chips and wipe up any
remaining pieces with a brush. Avoid using your
hands or a rag to clean since sharp metal pieces
can easily cut skin and through fabric. Remove,
empty, and clean the inside of the chip drawer.

Lubricate these components weekly to keep the
Model T32717 notching smoothly. See below for
a recommended lubrication product.
T26419—Syn-O-Gen Synthetic NLGI#2 Grease
Formulated with 100% pure synthesized hydrocar-
bon basestocks that are compounded with special
thickeners and additives to make Syn-O-Gen
non-melt, tacky, and water resistant. Extremely
low pour point, extremely high temperature oxida-
tion, and thermal stability produce a grease that is
unmatched in performance.
