Adjusting Guide 

Rollers

Guide  rollers  firmly  support  blade  position  along 
the cutting section of the blade. Adjust rollers after 
changing blade, and check rollers if milling opera-
tions produce inconsistent cuts.

To adjust guide rollers:

1.  DISCONNECT SPARK PLUG WIRE! 

2.  Loosen hex nut and hex bolt (see Figure 26).

3.  Rotate  guide  roller  rod  until  roller  is  resting 

lightly on blade (see 

Figure 27).

Shoulder

Adjusting Guide Rollers to Blade

When properly adjusted, roller guides rest lightly 
on the surface of the blade and the rear shoulder 
of the guides lightly touch the back of the blade.

4.  Slide roller until shoulder lightly touches back 

of blade. 

5.  Tighten hex bolt and hex nut (see Figure 26).
