Use the following tables to determine the
approximate maximum depth-of-cut (DOC)
for relative conveyor feed rates. After selecting
the appropriate feed rate chart, find the grit size
you plan to use. Locate the correct DOC for that
grit by selecting the correct wood hardness of the
workpiece, and note the maximum DOC for the
platen setting (up, even, or down).

only. They are provided with the intent of giving
you a "ballpark" idea of what to expect for material
removal rates from this machine. Many additional
factors can influence the maximum depth-of-cut
or removal rates that can be achieved with each
pass (i.e. oscillation speed settings, depth-of-
cut taken on previous pass, actual hardness of
workpiece, etc.), so do not be surprised if you
experience slightly different results.
