8.3 Unit control panel
When the unit is turned on, the display shows DMX ad-
dresses, and indicates the presence of the DMX signal.
In the presence of the DMX signal the green led will
steadily be on while in the absence of DMX signal the led
will flash.
The red led is on during:
• DMX address is setting
• menu setting
8.3.1 Button functions
MENU button:
Each time this button is pressed, the display will show the following functions, sequentially:
• address setting;
• options setting.
UP and DOWN buttons:
By pushing the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons, values of the function which is shown in the display can be changed.
ENTER button:
Keep the “ENTER” button pushed, until the display and the SET led flash, in order to memorize the function which
is shown on the display.
8.3.2 Setting DMX address
The display shows the unit’s address when the unit is turned on.
Follow this description to modify the address: press once the “MENU” button and go to address set-up.
Then select the desired value (between 1 and 499 ) through the “UP” and “DOWN” keys.
Press “ENTER” to confirm.
Each unit will use 7 DMX channels.
When the Kolorjet 4000 is connected to a standard controller, taking into account that
it takes up 7 channels, it will have to be set as per table on the side.
