8.1 Powering up the unit
Once performed all actions described in the previous
paragraphs, you can proceed and power up the unit
using the switch “20” .
The lamp should switch on within 15 seconds from the
ignition of the unit. Should the lamp not switch on, the op-
eration will be automatically repeat 3 times.
If it should happen that the lamp did not turn on, discon-
nect the unit from the mains and switch on the power
supply again.
8.2 Lamp current setting
Due to the sensitivity of the lamp it is very important to check the power consumption on the ammeter “22” .
The suggested lamp power consumption rate should be between 110 and 130A ;
• if the power consumption is 110÷130A the plug “25” must be on NOMINAL position
• if the power consumption is lower than 110A the plug “25” must be connected to -2,5% or -5% position, so that
the power consumption value become correct.
• if the power consumption is higher than 130A the plug “25” must be connected to +5% or +10% position, so that
the power consumption value become correct.
Note: Check the power consumption on the ammeter display five minutes after you turned the unit on
because the power consumption is higher during the first minutes.
