INSTALLATION LS-DRIVE
INSTALLATION CONTINUED
NOTE
LS-Drive is supplied with a pair of 774ANZ monitored entrapment
protection safety beams. A Grifco Entrapment Protection device is
required to be installed for the operator to function.
Only LS-Drives manufactured after 1-1-2019 are compatible with
Grifco GPS15’s .
Cable entry
Run the wire back to the operator CONTROL PANEL. Use the
channels provided on either side of the rail extrusion and secure with
the 4 supplied cable clips to ensure cable does not come loose.
Mount a cable clip at either end of the rail. Run the cable through the
rubber gland located on the top of the operator, above the control
panel.
Connection
The photoelectric sensor is supplied prewired to a quick connect plug.
Using a small flat blade screwdriver, loosen the screws on the quick
connect plug, and remove the cables from the plug.
The plug is not needed.
As this product is polarity sensitive, ensure the Brown wire is
terminated into terminal number 3, and the blue wire is terminated into
either of the terminals labelled number 2.
TO REMOVE AND ERASE MONITORED ENTRAPMENT
PROTECTION DEVICES
Remove the BBU connector and power down the operator. Power the
operator up for three seconds.
Remove power for three seconds.
Repeat three times, leaving power on the third time.
Please note: The LS-Drive requires one set on Grifco
Entrapment Protection devices to operate.
